Yes, not so much wheezing but chest has been very tight. I'm due to see the consultant tomorrow so I will be asking whether he has any tips on coping with it. The only thing I've found helps a little is staying indoors, which sucks with the lovely weather.

Me too Mark. I didn't know what was causing it. So seeing your posts and the responses has put my mind at rest. I was worried it was building to an exacerbation. I will start using Piriton. I also have recently started using a Himalayan Salt Pipe which has definitely helped with the "tickle" in the throat.

Since doubling up my Ceterizine as advised by the Allergy Consultant, I have been much better, though I am tapering down oral steroids from a chest infection as well. A single Ceterizine did absolutely nothing for me, and I gave up on it for years.

Me too, trying to get off pred, I started fexofenadine which is working much better for me than cetirizine was.

Am starting a new inhaler (can't remember name but chemist had to order it) it is to replace symbicort 400, my GP thinks it could make a big difference (fingers crossed)

Hope everyone feels better soon xxx

Horrible right now. My lawn is about 3 feet high and I can only mow about 3 strips at a time......eughhh. And the 80% humidity just adds to it. Good luck all. Piriton does help me a little.

Yes. Struggling too. I take loratadine and beconase, plus Flutiform for asthma, but still fairly wheezy. I also bought Prevaln Plus which is drug free. It makes a barrier in the nose to stop pollen getting in. I think it helps.

I have just been diagnosed with Hay Fever, I thought I was going mad. I have been advised to take loratadine before I go to bed, and have some eye drops to use in the morning and the night - seems to help; but yesterday really struggled with the humidity with my asthma. The two pieces of advice I didn't like but I know they make sense is to not hand my bedding out to dry and to not open my windows at night. Good luck everyone.

Hi Ksos500, have you considered getting an air purifier for your home? They actually work really well if you get the right type (look for HEPA filter). I found some decent advice here theadviceowl.com. Hope this helps
