Its currently snowing in my area and it sucks. Chest tight and wheezy, feels like a compressor is around my chest. Anyone else suffering from the weather?

Hi if you can stay at home while the weather is like this.  If you can't then tie a scarf loosly round your nose and mouth so you only breathe warm air.   This should help as cold air hitting your lungs can cause your symptoms.  x

Hi Beth yes cold air takes my breath away. Use recommendations on Asthma UK website. 2 puffs of ventolin or salbutamol 15mns before you go out helps as well Hidden  's advice.

Yes it sucks - I am training for a triathlon and want to go open water swimming and the water is freezing. Although i have a very thick wet suit and I am too scared in case i drown of an asthma attack. Prey for sunshine, wrap up warm and get some sun when it shines. Its nearly May!
