I haven't ever taken it but yes I think you have to keep it in the fridge. There's a thread about on the BLF board this evening also mentioning that you should. Don't ask my why though!!

It appears that some inhalers are kept in fridge and fostsir is one of those. Pharmacy are so knowledgeable with regards to why etc, sure they would explain.

I am on Fostair Nexthaler 100/6 and I have never been told to store it in the fridge. However it does say on the box "Prior to dispensing to the patient store in a refrigerator" and also it says patient should use within five months of it being dispensed! Well nothing has ever been said to me and sometimes I do store them perhaps longer but I just look at the expiry date which on my box is 02/2017. That is really bad! Thank you for bringing this to our attention and I will certainly ask my pharmacist.

Yeah its a bit confusing to me as only just gone on this inhaler so sounds daft to ask a question like this that's why I came here. Thanks for ur reply.

Hi, fostair only needs sorting in the fridge before being used for the first time, then use and keep as normal. Hope you get on well with Fostair, I am so much better with it, I am thrilled!

If you go to 6.4 it says there whet to do so it is not a case of keep it in fridge just do not go above 25c and use in 5 months.
