Do you feel as you cannot take deep breath most of the time?

Hi,

Does anybody has an urge to take deep breath and cannot most of the time ? Is it one of the typical asthma symptoms? I read that it could be an anxiety - but if I am anxious its just because of constant shortness of breath! My consultant seems to thinks that all my breathlessness symptoms are caused by asthma - but seretide or oral steroids don't seem to help anymore. Just wondering if it could be a combination of asthma with something else?

Thanks

My breathlessness has now been diagnosed as a combination of asthma and iron deficiency anemia. The later is very slowly improving.
