question about using a peakflow

hi all, according to the peak flow charts my peakflow is pretty much bang on all the time but i am still paranoid about it and i do suffer bad health anxiety and have done for a long time but my question is would overuse of a peakflow meter cause my throat to become sore and effect the readings?nthanks

Hi nI don't think so. I am a life long asthmatic and measure my peak flow about 4 times a day when my asthma get severe a peak flow becomes pointless as can hardly blow it.

You can never say never I don't suppose but it sounds unlikely. I've not heard of meters affecting anybody's throat. I'm sure you'll be fine :-)

Doubt it? think you would have to use it every 5 mins of every day for that to happen?
