Easibreathe inhalers confusion

I asked for a easibreathe inhaler yesterday as sometimes i struggle during an attack and it is especially useful when out & about and apparantly the doctors don;t like giving them out - is there a reason why or is it my practice just being awkward

anyones thoughts welcome

That's interesting, I was on an easibreathe years ago and really liked it too. Mine got changed when the cfc's were removed (yes that's how long ago it was!) I presumed the easibreathe wasn't made FCC free. I've been through a few different ones since then and have finally found one I really like - airomir mdi

I was given easibreathe inhalers a few weeks ago though I just had a Salamol prescription so it is still around. The only problem is I only use this inhaler during attacks when I can't effectively take a turbohaler (I have a low tolerance for Salbutamol) so I need a spacer anyway! I'm guessing they're more expensive than standard MDI so could this be an issue (I have had this discussion with my GP surrounding accuhaler and MDI for Seretide).

Had an easibreathe once given by my old asthma nurse. Her thought were that it was good because you don't have to synch pressing it and inhaling. I didn't use it much, I found it bulky and not very portable!

I was moved onto salamol easi breather too although I did not ask for it and did not know why it was given to me but quite liked it although agree its quite bulky. I was also given an asthmabeck clickhaler instead of my usual steroidal MDI ,quite liked that too but now i use a spacer so back to my mdis! X
