Any1 get these horrible things because of asthma meds

I HATE mouth ulcers from my meds! Are you on nebs? I've found nebs worse than inhalers for mouth health. I also find my teeth shear off enamel - my dentist says this is a side effect of nebs sometimes too.

I find ulcers are a bit better if I brush my teeth and rinse with a medicated mouth wash after a neb, bit of a hassle but I must have upped the share price of bonjela over the last few years!

My dentist recommends a toothpaste which does NOT contain sodium laureth sulphate. This ingredient Is apparently a common cause of mouth ulceration, and since it's in most toothpastes, it won't be blamed by folk. She also recommends brushing teeth BEFORE inhalers etc, and rinsing afterwards with an alcohol and SLS free mouthwash. If you don't brush your teeth beforehand the drug finds it easier to stick to the surfaces in the mouth.
