My new consultant is keen for me to try methatrexate, saying he thinks Im an ideal candidate and he thinks it could make a big difference to me, as well as reducing the amount of pred Im on. Im wary, knowing its a chemo drug and has some nasty side effects but before I reject it outright I thought Id ask if anyone has tried it and what your experiences were? Its pretty much a last resort tbh and Im just getting my head around how serious things are and maybe I need to try it. Thanks.
