Have your shopping delivered and stay in if you need to

This winter I have been using Tesco and Asda shopping on line and have been having my shopping delivered, it is great

no waiting up all day if you need to go to bed

with Asda you can book a 2 hour slot, Tesco offer a 1 hour slot, 7 days a week and you can shop up to 11pm and have it delivered the next day, the delivery charge varies from £3 to £6 but is always cheaper than it costs me to go there and back to Morrisons by taxi (£6.50)

If you need more details or help getting started do ask :)

home delivery shopping is great regardless of whether you're ill or well :-)

We've been doing it for a few years with asda, you can also book 8hr slots if you don't mind being in and hanging around - they're only £2.50

I agree jingle, ill or well, let them fight with the snow and ice lol

We do this in my flat at uni. All six of us buy our shopping together and have it delivered at a time when we're all in :)

It's great since the nearest supermarket is about a mile away! Saves carrying loads of heavy bags back up the steep hills to uni!

I do one big shop a month using home delivery, it might cost to have it delivered but I save more than double that in the 'offers' (that I didn't actually want) that I'd pick up when instore.

Great idea! I think I will have to try this. Apparently my grandmother always had things delivered in the 1950s and 60s so my mother tells me it is family tradition :).

I only have a Morrisons near me and I don`t drive any more

what I can`t get at Morrisons I had to do without

but by shopping online I can shop at Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys :)
