My son has asthma but has never been offered the flu jab. I understand it is cultured in egg, he is allergic to egg so I assume he cannot have the flu jab. Anyone else have this problem? My son is 12yrs and has heard the advert about the flu jab and asthma. It has scared him so now gets very anxious about his health. Not sure what to do?

My partners little sister has an egg allergy also from what I remember I think their GP surgery had to order in a special one for her that was cultured differently. I know she definitely had it last year. Its probably best to make an appointment or ask for phone consultation with the GP to discuss it as its best to have it if you can.
