Having the cold with asthma

Having just taking the cold on Thursday, now struggling with my breathing, seritide not doing much & salbutamol only helping for about 15-20 mins at a time, so now have resorted to inhaling menthol crystals. # hateasthma

So it was back to the dr this morning, chest infection,that will be the 1st one looks like its gonna be a long season if thats them started already,a weeks course of Amoxicillin, at least she gave me the 500mg

I'm in the same boat as you John :-S

Hope you recover quickly and make sure you get plenty of rest.

Hi, hope you're feeling a bit better :)

Can't offer much advice but am sending you loads of sympathy! I get a pretty much constant cold from november to march so I know how much it sucks! I was only diagnosed in april of this year so I used to ignore it and just force myself to carry on despit not being able to breathe, not that I would recommend that!

Try drinking honey and lemon and eating junk food- it's my solution to everything!
