Inhalers for running

Hi guys,

I have mild asthma which I used ventolin for, I also use beclometasone preventer during the winter and when my symptoms are worse.

My asthma is fine at the moment but I do get a little out of breath running- I take 2 puffs of ventolin just before running. My friend mentioned using another type of inhaler- not sure if it was singulair or something else? and that it helped her run more easily than ventolin- does anyone know which inhaler is best for running? and whether it would be prescribed for mild asthma?

Thanks :)

singular is a tablet and it helped me, I used to cough after running. Intal is an old inhaler but has been shown to have good results for use for those with exercise induced asthma.
