Help please. My airway feels congested

I can feel mucus bubbling around my airway :(

My inhaler isn't helping. How can I clear my chest? Should I take more Seretide?

Thanks.

I had something similar a few weeks ago where it felt like the mucus in my airways was so thick it felt like i was sufforcating me & i was really struggling, i went back on pred it didnt make it better but stopped it getting worse i went 2 my consultant & it turned out i had bhroncitis & was given strong antibiotics & within 24 hours i noticed a dramatic improvement a week later my airways were clear. So go to your gp to see if they can give u something because if you have an incection & just step up your inhaler it might not make things better. Hope things clear up soon

hey!!

I find that inhalers dont tend to help my gunk at all, so taking more would be ineffective.

Have you ever seen a chest physio?! they tend to teach good skills for shfiting gunk!! the best one I find it huffing as if trying to steam up a mirror. try not to cough though to try and shift it as it will just get half way and get stuck.

hope this helps, if it doesnt shift, maybe see ur gp to see a physio breifly?! not sure how things work in your local area?!
