Bank holiday, Queen's Jubilee weekend.

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. Thinking of all struggling lungs wise, to those in hospital sending the JCB escape crews but only when ready!

Back at work tomorrow for me as the extra bank holiday is not recognised in our contracts.

Hope work isn't too bad tj, my hubby has worked the last 3 days as bank hols aren't recognized in his contract either.

Having said that he's off today so we are off to the zoo with out little boy and some friends so fingers x the rain holds off!

Thanks TJ. I was meant to work today but I've taken the day off after a rubbish weekend lung wise, managed to avoid costa :) but had enough sally shakes to dry 2 tonnes of salad. Had a lovely lie in this morning and lungs all settled too. Hope work isn't too bad today. x

Oh no TJ, hope it's an ok day at least.

Angelica, hope you're having/had a good day at the zoo and it's not too wet!

loub, glad your lungs are starting to behave! Mine have kicked off a little, I think they must have republican leanings and are objecting to the Jubilee celebrations lol.

Well Philomela, lets hope your lungs revert to a brittish allegiance again and become well behaved too.

TJ, I trust you're home from work with your feet up by now.

awww i hope all lungs are behaving themselves and poor people at work, i'm a teacher so i'm on half term and pleased to announce i've even finishedmy reports - apart from printing which is getting done on thursday.

I've done nothing to celebrate the jubilee. We were supposed to be having a garden party after church on sunday to celebrate 125 years of the church but it got washed out and all ended up indoors. It was far too squashed so didn't stay long at all :-(

Today i've been on a 90 minute horse riding trek - great fun even though my horse was the hungriest in the group and kept stopping to eat the flora en-route haha

Hehe Jinglefairy, I went horseriding a few times when I was younger and always seemed to get the most hungry horse so always at the back.

Thanks everyone, yep not too bad a day at work and home in good time. We were the only outpatient department in the trust so ticked over nicely without the usual constant phone calls etc.

Angelica, day at the zoo sounds fab and hope the rain stayed away.

Lou, hope your lungs are still behaving after their rough weekend of misbehaving. Urgh, sally shakes :(

Philomela, think your lungs need to be a bit more patriotic then?

Jinglfairy, squashed in crowds not good but great hungriest horse description :) Much quieter getting into work with half term especially today, twas deserted.
