Do you need to treat a tight chest?

Hi,

I have relatively mild asthma and a few attacks each year. At the moment I have a tight chest and 'itchyness' in my throat- do I need to treat this with reliever or not?

xx

I would say yes and are you on antihistamines as a tickly throat could be hayfever which may then trigger your asthma too.

i'd say yes too - no point suffering when you can relieve it, even if it is only a tight chest. I sometimes get the same and usually take my blue - it's not going to do any harm and more than likely will help

As the others have already said it is best to treat your asthma when it starts playing up and nips things in the bud before things start deteriorating further.
