Rock concerts and asthma..

hi i was just wondering if my asthma would affect me going to any rock shows. I only ask because this week i had the chance to go to see trivium with a really good friend, but my boyfriend advised against it. Will it be possible to go to future rock shows?

I have been to LOADS of rock concerts despite being brittle (inc U2 ,Bon Jovi, Guns n Roses, Def Leppard and Pink Floyd)

I alway take my neb (or inhalers if u dont normally use a neb) with me and also find the nearest 1st aid station and inform them of my health problems incase of any attacks that i cant cope with.

Many now should be non smoking (worth checking venue) which has helped and make sure anyone who is with you knows what to do in the even of an attack..

Go for it just take the precautions i have suggested and ENJOY!

I have also been to Rock concerts including Bon Jovi would like to go to the one in the summer. Go well prepared etc should be fine! Stay clear of pyrotechnics and smokers!

Go for it Wendy,

St John Ambulance first aiders are very good and also well equiped at coping with all sorts.

For the big V concerts in chelmsford we have ( By law due to crowd size 60,000 plus) Well trained first aiders, Nurses, Paramedics, Doctors and 6 first aid posts. So you should feel safe!

Just try and avoid being squashed and definately don't Crowd Surf!

i'm gonna, next time they tour wich will probably be later this year :D, and i'm gonna wait behind and meet matt heafy :D, mikes gonna let me but he ses the only thing he worries about is the fact that the crowds at trivium are often INSANE. i'm gonna do it noext time and hes ok with it

Ive already got tickets for Bon Jovi on the 10/6 at Wembly!! Am just hoping that 1) lungs behave and im not in and 2) the statdium is finished!!Have seen them twicwe and was at the last concert at Wembly so really want 2 b at the 1st as well!

I am probably going to be a first aider with st John Ambulance on Bon Jovi concert in Manchester. I hope that this is not going to deter you from asking for help if you need it lol. *Touches wood, I hope it is going to be one of those duties when absolutely nothing happens*
