Doc told my 21 year old daughter to take seretide and symbicort, singular at night time and bricanyl when needed. have taken symbicort before but not the same time as seretide together . Is this normal practise because i was led to believe its one or the other. But who do we ask. Look forward to any advice.

not sure
Phone up asthma helpline Not sure myself but it does not sound right to me.
Is the doctor in question an asthma specialist? Are your doughter symptoms difficult to control? I believe that it is more usual approach to increase the dose of an inhaler rather then take two different at the time. Maybe there was a missunderstanding? I would start with questioning the doctor who prescibed it. He/she should be able to give you their reasoning for this approach.
It is definitely a good idea to phone asthma helpline as well.
