Hi all.

I have a hugely embarrassing problem with my asthma right now and I'm not sure what to do about it. Hope someone has some advice.

Hi Fluffy,

Just to explain why I've removed some of your post - this is a public board, and can be read by people of all ages. Your message was phrased very carefully, I do appreciate that, but unfortunately the moderating team has had to make the decision that we can't have any of that sort of content on the board.

Obviously, in an ideal world, we would be able to discuss any topic on this board, but we do have to be aware of our potential readership.

I have PMed you, though, and I suspect some other board members will have seen your post or will be able to guess at its content, and may also PM you. As a general point, if one of the board regulars does have an embarrassing or potentially sensitive question that they are not sure is appropriate for the board, I am quite happy to be PMed, both for advice, if I can offer it, and to check whether it is suitable for the board.

Hi Fluff!!! ...hope you are keeping wellish.

Take hair,

Derek

Hopefully you've had some useful PMs now, Fluffy.

We are looking at the possibility of introducing a new ""talking point"" into which sensitive items could be posted. It would only be viewable to registered members of the board, and because it would appear at the bottom of the talking point list (under ""medical"") then you would have the choice of not looking there!

This would enable topics such as Fluffy's to be discussed by those who want to. What do people think?

Steve, I think that is a great idea.

Hi all.

Sorry if I have upset or offended anyone and I understand the need to edit the post. Just desperate for some help and not sure where to turn and what to do.

Even more embarrassed now!!!!

Stay well everyone.

Hi Fluffy,

Please don't be embarrassed, it obviously took a lot of guts to ask the question, and I do admire you for that. I'm sorry we had to cut it down, I'm sure that you haven't upset or offended anyone, but as you can appreciate, we just have to be really careful.

I hope you get some useful answers, anyway.

Take care,

Em
