Just letting you know that after a few days of chest being grumpy EmH did the sensible thing and went in. She is OK but obviously they are keeping a close eye on her. She won't be answering any PM's for a day or 2 or texting etc. Should anything change I will let you know.

Thank you all so much for the get well messages - I am very touched, it really has given me a lift and helped me get through what has been quite a difficult few days. It means a lot that you all care enough to write such nice things!
I have had a busy few days, being in three different hospitals in the space of 24 hours at one point! I was initially admitted to my local because my chest was not so good - I wasn't nearly as bad as I have been with my worst attacks, but bad enough to worry people somewhat for the first day or two I think. I did pick up quite quickly, thank goodness. Then at the beginning of last week I went across to the other local hospital to have a portacath put in, to deal with my worsening problems with iv access - this has already been a real blessing, as it was getting to the point where it was impossible to cannulate me, and I was needing central lines often when I went in. Then the next day I went down to RBH for a few tests, so it's been a bit hectic!
I'm home now and feeling not too bad, although inevitably my lungs are protesting a little that I've been rushing around doing too much!

Just to let you know I had a text from Alex this morning to say that EmH has gone back in. I know she was really struggling last night with her asthma and I am actually very relieved she is in and getting the appropriate care. She is quite poorly although not ventilated so there will be a further delay on the reply to those PM's and she is not texting either. Any further updates from Alex I will post here. Please keep her in your thoughts and lets hope for a nice uncomplicated quick admission this time. On the plus side she now has a port so at least access will not be an issue any more.

Just heard that EmH has had a bit of splatt again last night she is on HDU once again expect delays in PM answering and texting etc. Poor love she is having a really bad time of it at the moment, and is about as stable as a 2 legged table!
