ASTHMA STATS - Help, i am looking for national asthma indicators.

Hi, can anyone point me in the right direction for national asthma statistics. In particular i am looking to research the comparable prevalence of asthma region to region i.e. Warwickshire vs Northamptonshire as I am convinced that the air is 'worse' for asthma in some places over others. For example i have lived in Warwickshire for 3 years and for most of that time i have had slight wheezing upon waking in the mornings. On a recent holiday in the west country i had no problems whatsoever and yet upon my return the wheezing resumed. It would be interesting to see if certain places have a higher incidence of asthma than others based on air quality or if there is anecdotal evidence that suggests there are 'hot-spots' around.
