when does it get better

feeling miserable , been awake neally all night coughing, then had to work an early shift up at 630

phoned the asthma nurse while at work now back on prednisolone 40mg

so sorry youre having such a rough time Pam. hopefully the increase in steroids will ease your symptoms somewhat. wishing you all the best so that you feel better soon. (((((HUGS)))))

Sorry you are having a horrid time.

I remember a song (can't actually remember who it was by but that is besides the point! I think Tony Blair used it as the theme tune in the run up to election time?) - ""Things can only get better"" - I love the sentiment of this song (though not the musical side of it very much!) and I would love to say that is right but I'm not convinced. DONT CALL ME NAMES YET!!!! Things do sometimes get better, the things that don't get better seem to get better because we actually get better at dealing with them. I have met some of the most wonderful people in my life (and hope to meet many more)and I am still regularly pleased to see and hear of people acheiving or even just surviving against all the odds. Even when you see someone (maybe some body dying) in a situation that you yourself think you would never get through it or it wouldn't get any better - look a little closer - most people will find a positive no matter what the negative is that they are facing.

WOW that was a longer reply than I expected and I can't promise that it makes sense or the spelling is up to normmal standards - I blame it on my current meds!

Hope it does get better though.

thank u for my words of encouragement had 7 days of 40mg pred and feeling a bit better, off to see the consultant tomorrow then on nights x
