iv suffered with asthma for years. and started weight training in march/april . iv found doing bench press and weighted squats have relieved tightness on my chest. i had to stop for 3months because of 2 car crashes and an asthma attack during the break from the gym, and stopped taking supplements of whey protien & l-glutamine. trained monday and lifted over my best with ease, but found i was short of breath even when i had rested for a while and taken my pump. i went 2 the doctors tuesday after waking up and finding i was bringing up blood in my phlemgn, only for the doctor to tell me i had been training with a chest infection.
does any 1 else find that weight training relieves the chest??
