Heart By Pass Surgery and Asthma

Two weeks ago I had a double by pass, a horrible experience, especially as they had to crack me open twice, due to bleeding.

Recovery is a long process, no lifting of more than light items for three months but it does seem to have had a very positive on my asthma. My med requirements are well down and breathing generally is much improved.

The surgeon told me that it appeared to be an hereditary condition as all other arteries were clear and that it is probable I had been developing the condition since age 5.
