Pleuratic Pain

I was diagnosed with Asthma about a year ago now and I'm getting on fine with that, but I get pleuratic pain a lot. I had pleurisy last year due to a viral infection and just assumed when this pain come back I'd caught it again but I haven't had any other symptoms. She told me there was no infection and my chest sounded clear but that the skin around the back of my chest was tender and it was obvouis I was in pain. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience? and whether you have any advice, she prescribed me co-codamol but I don't really want to take that all the time as it can have quite lasting side effects. I've also used a hot water bottle to soothe it and that helped a little.

Any ideas?
