Diagnosed earlier this year, I feel my medication (which has stayed the same since the beginning) has taken about six months to settle in and settle my asthma symptoms.

I still get puffed walking up a long slope or climbing several flights of stairs to my daughters flat. Nowadays I put that down to being generally unfit rather the asthma. Having tried the Nintendo Wii's exercise thingy to check out my fitness level, I find I have the fitness level of someone much older. Oops!

Not only that, but my daughter practically rolled off the sofa with laughter at my feeble efforts on the warm-up exercises! I didn't get as far as the actual exercises - Too out of puff. 8(
