Freeway elite neb

Hi all

I currently have a mirco air omron which had about 4years and used it just about everyday. It has been great esp being so small, light and silent but having replaced the mesh filter a couple times and the drug container i feel it is becoming less and less reliably and i fear one day when need it urgently it will die on me and i do also find that it is not that powerful esp when going off in a big way!

Really like the power of my compressor nebs at home, i have a profile neb and a medix one for downstairs so looking to get a compressor one that is portable and will fit in my bag or is that expecting too much.

Been looking at the freeway elite and obviously bigger than the omron but expect that for a compressor but wanted to know if anyone has one of these what are your experiences with it? How noisy are they and does the battery last a while even after months of recharging?

Grateful for any thoughts on any other portable compressor nebs as want to get the right one before spend a lot of money.

Thanks

Take care all

Keep warm

Sarah

i have a poly green portable neb it comes withmains adaptor, car charger and a battery pack it is fantasic.

I have had two Freeways now, okay a bit noisy compared to the omron which I have also. Had various nebs over the years, but when I next have to replace neb it will certainly be the Freeway. I don't even bother having mine serviced now because the cost of servicing and getting it there isn't cost effective. What i would pay out over a two year period to have it serviced would pay for a new one. Never had my current freeway (3 years old now) serviced, no problems with it. CLean it regularly and use new accessories every year and of course change filters. Have found the company that makes them very helpful, even though they have now changed hands. There various suppliers of the Freeway, but I always prefer to buy direct in case of any problems.

i also have a poly green ultrasonic neb its portable as already mentioned its incredibaly reliable i also hav a actineb which is gud but noisy. Poly green better 4 noise levels actineb better if u hav larger vols of meds as medication chamber in poly green bit small! Compressor type nebs can b used wit o2 whereas ultrasonic ones cannot. Compressor types are always slightly loud but ive heard gud reports of the freeway-my nxt one may also b a freeway. Sorry its a bit rambly but poly green one only cost me just shy of 40 pounds from maplin electronics it came in a carry case with 100 med chambers battery adapter 4 car and adapter 4 house doubles as charger 4 battery, also has both mask and mouthpiece which at less than 40 pounds and garenteed for 3 months is really gud value i think especially as its not ear punishing!!

Gud luck and stay warm n well. Xxx
