Making a url link 'clickable'

Admin,

How do I make a url link clickable on this forumboard. I can do it on php ones by wrapping the url with the following tags yourwebsite but am lost on here. So much easier than having to copy and paste etc.

Thanks!

Hi Meady,

Unfortunately there's no functionality on this board to make a link clickable, so we're stuck with copy-and-pasting! Sorry...nowt to do with us tho :)

Okilydokily, thanks Cathbear :)

Yes; apparently this is a ""security feature"". Clearly the board developers have never heard of the reason why BBCode was developed in the first place...

Thanks Steve.

It would be a more dynamic board if they were using something like vbulletin ie, like my own site astra-mk2.com Sooooooo much more customisable.

Tell me about it...!

I run the message board for Kick Asthma Holiday volunteers, and it's using a customised version of YaBB. Thus is works better - and was no doubt much cheaper! - than the board we've got here.
