Back in A&E again today.

Well, been struggling with a rotten cold over the weekend. Been monitoring my PF and it was on the low side (280ish) but no other asthma symptoms.

However, it hit like a train early this afternoon. Had terrible wheezing and rattling(which is not normally a symptom of an attack for me) and coughing up a mixture of clear mucus and green sputum. PF was 180 by the time I got there.

After neb, steroids and an hour on the oxygen I feel much better, but have a secondary chest infection, which is probably what made me have an attack. Anyway, got to see my GP by Friday, got some antibiotics, and an action plan that the doc at A&E went through with me - what to do with Ventolin and stuff if I get a cold. Says I've got to run it by my GP when I see him.

Oh, boy, it's so boring in hosp, isn't it? I made nearly a whole friendship bracelet, and that was after snoozing for about an hour.....

it is dull in hospital, i agree. I get through it with sleeping, if i have my notebook, just jotting down thoughts (this is usually when i feel better) or if i have to stay, listening to music until i fall asleep or playin on the psp, last overnighter, managed to get through most of loco-roco 2

hope you feel better soon
