help please my lovly 3yr old son has started grinding his teeth in his sleep.i do't know what to do.he is driving me mad at night i have to use a baby alam to hear him at night if he needs me at night, and to listen for his asthma.so i can't turn it off.please help

one of the ways that dentists can help is to give him a tooth shield - it looks like the kind of thing that footballers were to protect their teeth. That way when he grinds in his sleep he isn't actually grinding tooth on tooth. I don't know what age he would have to be before they would give him one though. I do know that it shouldn't interfere with his asthma and although it seems strange to begin with you do get used to it very quickly. (speaking as someone who grinds their teeth and uses a shield!)
