I`m currently reducing pred every other day after a week on 30mg. Every time this happens (at least six times a year) I find the pains in my lungs- especially where I`ve had pneumonia 3 times- is absolutely unbearable. Do others have this reaction ? And if so I wonder why?

The dreaded pred
Hi,
Prednisolone gives a false sense of wellbeing, that's why it's given to cancer patients. I know when I've come off them, especially a long dose I feel absolutely awful with pains all over my body and aching legs. I would mention it though when you next see a Doctor just to get it checked out and to to make sure your infection has completely gone.
