hope someone can help me i have been on very heavy intrvenious steroids for 5 days am home now on 40 mg pred have just developed a high lump like dome shape just above my breast bone am very concerned and will go to gp in the moring but in the meantime has anyone ever had this and is it from the steroids please help if you can !!

Is there a number you can call for the ward you were on in the hospital? If not if it were me I would call out of hours doctors, would have me very worried too and tbh if someone can put your mind at rest then it is worth the phone call.

TBH, i'd call out of hours and see what they say, could be nothing, then again who knows, better to be safe if it suddenly appeared.
