high resolution CT scan

Hello peeps

I am going for a CT scan of my chest next week, and I forget - is the CT scan the one that you are totally enclosed in, or the one like a polo mint that you just pass through?

not sure but i think CT scan is the polo one and MRI is the enclosed 1????

Yep hunny its the polo one and the good thing about the high resolution ones are they get a more detailed pcture quicker!! you may be asked to do some breath holding so they can get details of your lungs full of air and empty.
