What should I do next?

Hello, I was diagnosed last week. My teen has been asthmatic nearly all his life. I've got a preventer and a reliever, but not a repeat prescription. Do I have to go back to the GP, make an appointment with the asthma nurse, or can I just request a repeat prescription? I feel sooo much better already, although I think it 'll take a while to get rid of the bruised and battered feeling inside!

Thanks

You might find it helpful to go and see your GP or Asthma Nurse they should be able advise you and answer any other questions you may have

You should be able to request a repeat prescription from the surgery - the medication will be on their system. The prescribing doctor may decide that an appointment is necessary, but equally they may not and just provide the prescription.
