long term antibiotics.

I'm on long term trimethoprim for another condition, my asthma has settled down after starting on these. is it possible that they're helping for it or is it one of those things that happens?

Some antibiotics reduce the inflammation within the airways also .... Thus improving the ashtma .... Not sure if trimethoprim Is one of them But good news on the improvement

Could do, I'm on long term clarithromycin for my asthma and has made a big difference - thank god

Some antibiotics can help, not sure about trimethoprim myself.
