This is a problem i have come across today, after taking ventolin through the nebuliser my breathing got worse and my face and eyes started to swell up. I had my doubts before but today was enough for me. Is this a common reaction or is it just me. What else is there. bar more steroids.

Hi Ken.

I don't like the sound of that - see a doctor asap in case it's an allergy.

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi ken i agree - please get seen before you have too much more just incase of allergy.

Hey Ken spounds so, im allergic to salbutamol, get usually swelling etc but also get swelling of my airays and therefore bronchospasms much worse.

Think you need get some medical advice, if is dont worry can be prescibed turbutaline also called bricanyl instead, its a bronchodilator the same as ventolin.

Thanks for the replies, this is very confusing for me, tried the ventolin again and i never reacted to it this time, so not sure if to tell the doctor to change or stay as i am for the while. trouble is i have tried most things over the years, hopefully one day a cure will be found for us all. take care and thanks.
