Op-site spray dressing

Does anyone have any tips for removal of this wretched stuff???!!!

When having my ICD fitted it was sprayed over the wound to seal it , it is very very slowly starting to peel off but is becoming increasingly itchy and uncomfortable and tbh i would rather just have something like a mepor dressing now so i can monitor the wound more accurately . Even my CM was a tad bemused as she has not come across it used immediately post surgery.

Thanks in advance -one rather itchy hops!!!

Hello Hops,

I assume you can't just pick it off.

As it is solvent based I think, another squirt of the same spray MAY disolve the stuck stuff enough for you to carefully rub it off.

Plaster remover may be another option though I would be careful of the solvents involved.
