Hello, Sorry I haven't but sure I remember others on here. Have you searched for the Brompton/RBH?

Honey,

I've bumped up the RBH post that appeared on here.

Hope it helps you

I've done the difficult asthma protocol and its absolutely nothing to worry about! Coming from me who is phobic of all things medical, this should reassure you. Message me if you want to know the ins and outs :)

Hi

I have done this. It is fine, no problem, all staff are lovely. I stayed mon-fri and had an array of tests, but nothing horrid. I did manage to come off some meds as well.

All the best

Xx

I did the difficult asthma protocol business at RBH and didn't enjoy it at all and vowed that I'd never go back there. However, after having changed teams (under a better team now, in my opinion) I am happier. Some of my medictions have been changed and I havent had to spend too much time in the hospital.

I'm sure it was just a combination of lots of factors that made my experience so horrible and that it was a one off. I'm happy with my team now and they certainly know what they're doing there.

Hope it all goes well with you. Let us know how you get on. xx

Hi,

I've just got back today from doing the DAP at Brompton. If you have the opportunity - take it! People would pay for that level of investigation.

Hospital is never a nice environment to be in, but they are all very friendly and approachable and you also get to share your experiences with the other people that are in.

The tests have been really useful - for eg. I know exactly what things I'm allergic to and to what degree and I also now know that I don't have silet acid reflux. They've switched some of my meds and have offered physio to help me learn some breathing techniques. They really invest their time and support you.

If you have any specific questions, just PM me x
