low peak flow

I was diagnosed with asthma in May this year, today I received a peak flow meterI tried it this evening and it was 130 before my inhalers and 160 after, this seems to be a little low, but I know my asthma is not well controlled due to it not being diagnosed for a long time, probably years. So is this normal at the beginingI take formotérol 12mcgs and beclométhasone 400mcgs 2x a day and bricanyl as a relief usually once a day; during or after exercise or physical work.I would like opinions from more experienced long term suffers as you are the most experienced.

that sounds quite low have you had your technique checked to make sure you are doing it right?
