Dressings in new sofset boxes

Has anyone noticed how the new dressing in the sof set box is so unreliable when wet.

i have found when bathing or swimming the dressing almost disintergrates and looses all its sticky. i have gone through several sets this last few weeks due to the needle falling out or leaking due to it having come unstuck.

Hi george

I have only in the past few weeks started using silouettes and I thought they were peeling off in the bath becuase I am having to use a lot of moisturising cream on my exczema so thought it may be affecting the sticky.

The people at the company are really helpful so might be worth ringing them and having a chat.

Hi George,

Haven't had Sof-sets for a few months, still have some under the bed, Have converted to Sillouettes now. sillouettes do peel off occasionally if skin dry or live yanked!!

Try some mefix and cut out a hole in the middle or use another tape or sticky stuff that works for you.

Is the new peel off stuff the same as Op-site - that clear Orange backed stuff or a different dressing alltogether???

Take care

Kate

Soft sets do my blooming head in!!

Its not enough that i have to change every day or two as skin shocked from pred and insulin use that now i found them snapped twice? At the end as it goes into the conection onto the syringe? wots that all about?

And them dressings are so fiddly, its so hard when your trying to hold in place, hold your fat up and put the dressings on, i always end up throughing them away and using a big mefix.

lol
