Unpleasant asthma side-effects

When my throat/airways start to get a bit irritable,I find that I cant talk for more than a few moments on the phone without throwing up-(people listening see that as a blessing!!!). I have had to run in mid-sentence sometimes to ""hurl""-anyone else have the same problems?

I do too but mine is usually when my asthma is really bad i cant talk as it sets off coughing fits and then i start throwing up because im coughin so much. As soon as i start to talk it sets it all off. My mates are all used to it so just wait til im done. Its not nice at all but i totally understand. Does taking a few puffs of salbutamol help? Or i have just discovered the joys of sucking on cherry soothers. They make my mouth water so much that it coats the lining of my throat and seems to ease the coughing short term.

Usually it can happen over a time period of as little as 5 mins so sometimes the inhaler is just a bit too late to work-its all in the timing I suppose!-but why does it happen while talking?-I am usually ok 20 mins or so later.

I throw up when my asthma is bad. Have ended up throwing up outside Sainsburys before now, yes I felt sorry for the lady that came to see if I was ok and I was like yes then promptly threw up everywhere!

well, my seretide often gives me a sore throat and a croaky voice. i find that ibuprofene makes me throw up, at the same time as bringing my asthma on.

Bronnies: my last ""bad"" do involved being sick outside our local Morrisons-well maybe slightly closer to the co-op funeral parlour next door -how about that for a ""good"" omen?

-do supermarkets make us sick??

not being able to talk for coughing, constant urging and stress incontinence
