Hey kerry,

I have had them quite a few times and use ISC's. Tnhe feeling does go away i think it is jsut the sort of getting used to having it for a while then it goes. If it is still uncomfortable ask for some istillagel which you can put on around the catheter and it is a sort of numbing cooling type of gel stuff which works well.

Hope you dnt have catherter too long.

Olive

thanks for your reply olive take care xx

HI kerry anne I had a cathether last time i was in hospital and i found it really really unconfortable especially when i moved, it felt really weird, in the end i asked the doctor if it could be removed as i just could not get on with it at all. They told me the weird feeling would go but personally i found it didnt.

So i guess it all depends on the person
