telithromycin antibiotics

hi all

Have been on azithromycin antibiotics for 2yrs for there anti inflammatory properties (so they tell me!!!)my consultant switched me to telithromycin in October 08 but am having difficulty getting hold of them on long term basis. Instead of a month supply at a time I am getting 10 days and it takes up to 10 days for my pharmacy to get them ordered and sent in because they are a specialist drug but when I ring for another script i am told i only just ordered them and have to wait. I have spoken to GP, my consultant has written numerous times. I think I'll just give up!!!
