Does anybody know whether taking pred in the evening helps with lack of sleep? When I am on the higher doses (20-40mg) I am unable to sleep for more than about half hour at a time despite being absolutely exhausted. I always take pred in the morning as was always told that was the best time. Have just been on nights and have slept really well having taken pred in the morning and slept through the day - wondered if it would be the same in reverse ie take pred at night and sleep through the night? Sorry if I've confused anyone!

I think pred is supposed to be taken in the morning because thats when the steroids the body makes are reased or something and then the pred works at the same time???
