Can anyone clarify whether or not you are able to take atrovent/ combivent nebs if you take Spiriva everyday? When I was in A&E and an inpatient on the ward I was given atrovent/ combivent nebs every 6 hours even though I was taking Spiriva in the morning. On my discharge letter it says not to take them with Spiriva - am a tad confused!!

No sarah if they feel you benefit more from atrovent nebs whilst in your spiriva must be stopped? When converting back to inhalers usually give pm dose of atrovent then restart spiriva next am.
