Bricanyl

Hi

I have a question from a memeber of my congregation. He has recently been precribed Bricanyl inhaler and has been taken off Salbutamol. But then was told only to use it four times a day. He is confused as he used to use Salbutomal before exercise and now he is not sure what to do with this Bricanyl. I don't use this so was not able to give him advice. What happens if he has symptoms and has used Bricanyl already four times?

Bricanyl can usually be used before exercise like salbutamol. Guess the safest advice is to phone the prescribing doctor for clarification, especially as to what to do if he needs to use it more than four times a day.
