hospital visit

i amjust back from a visit to casualty with my asthma and i am a bit worried with how they dealt with it. my wheezing was awful and i felt the worst i ever had in a long time so i went up to casualty.

I was impressed that i was seen straight away but i was only there for two hours and then discharged and told to make an appointment to see my GP about better control of my asthma. is this normal?

I suppose it all depends on how much you'd improved in the two hours you were there, and also what they did to you in those two hours.

If your symptoms had pretty much cleared up by then, then the actions taken seem logical.
