IFN Beta trial

Hi all,

I have been asked to take part in an Beta interferon inhaler trial later this year. I was wondering if anyone on the boards took part in the 1st phase trial that was done in Southampton and what their experience was.

I am very excited about this and so should everyone here be if your asthma gets bad when you have a cold.

Apparently you take this new inhaler when you are starting to get a cold and (hopefully) it stops your asthma getting worse, chest infection etc. Anyway of course for the trial won't know if I am getting the real mac coy or not. I s'pose it will be just my luck to get the placebo.

I still don't know if I will meet the criteria for the trial, so will let you all know when I know more.
