alergy research re peanuts

hi saw a report on bbc today about breakthrough in treatment with people with peanut allergy anaphalaxis and all that, as it seems to be a body response to the allergy i wonderd wether this has a bearing on asthma and is there research on asthma with this type of immuneotherapy .

Don't know but the Daily Express today had a good write up which is available on line for those who haven't seen it. I have peanut allergy so am very interested but not getting too excited because there haven't been any trials conducted on Adults yet so the Express leads me to believe.
