I was sitting looking at what a friend was listening to on msn last night and it got me thinking. What new albums/songs are people enjoying at the minute?
Personally I'm loving Hugh Laurie's album, Glee Presents: The Warblers and The Wanted.

I am trying to put together a happy place selection on my i-pod, but all my favourite songs are let me see slightly depressing - gre up with indie music as main inspiration.
I'm in a podcasting phase at the moment. Mostly because I need something to keep my mind busy when torturing my body in the gym and music doesn't stop me thinking about how much I'm hating what I'm doing - for me listening to music is about being relaxed, happy and comfortable.
So, I'm raiding radio 4. In Our Time and Thnking Allowed make me use my brain and when I play The News Quiz I'm the only person laughing like a drain while using the treadmill. Maybe I'll get to like the exercise and then I'll be able to use the music more.

My list of music loves at the moment : Anything by Faithless, Chremco, Talking Heads, Snow Patrol, 80's stuff.
But feeling old now, and keep turning the volume down and wondering how the hell ""those youngens can listen to music so loud!"" And I am only 39 and 360 days old (or 40 this coming Friday).
Presently have YouTube on in the background. Brian May playing with a delay and somehow making it harmonize.

I like Glee, although I think the storylines have been a bit samey recently, I love the singing/dancing. Have got 3 of the cds but think the first one (season 1) was the best.

Currently listening to all sorts of un-PC fun from Amateur Transplants on youtube... I particularly like the 'dorsal horn concerto' and 'paracetamoxyfrusebendroneomycin' (this is a wonderdrug, apparently, and the song is sung to the tune of supercalifragilisticexpialidocious).
Very funny, but my roomie probably doesn't love me very much right now, as I keep snorting with laughter!

Not really listening to anything in particular atm, had iPod on shuffle earlier with all sorts of random things on it.
I'm off work today so as I have the house to myself I decided to listen to some ambient music. Not usually my cup of rosie but needs must when stressed.
Glee Think the first CD was the best.
I once stayed in a shop longer just because they started playing Don't Stop Believin'. Then I bought a dress - obviously good tactic by the shop!
Not listening to anything atm except the sound of my own breathing which is not a great soundtrack. Going to go eat some chocolate pudding and watch a ridiculous chickflick while hopefully ignoring extra noises.
Today I listened to Memories of Machines - sort of post rock with a nice guitar. Possibly a calming alternative to ambient? Then I used Starone's latest (an Arjen Lucassen production) to liven me up afterwards
