Hey meady

I also live motorsport and I especially love fast cars, my favourite car is the mazda rx8, my dream car!!! have you ever been to silverstone?

I also love motorsport and went to silverstone last year to watch the F1. I wanted to see Schumi before he retired.

I also like the the Mazda Rx8

I've driven around Silverstone in a SEAT rally car! How cool is that?!

Am a huge motorsport fan; really loved the British touring cars about 12 years ago when all the top manufacturers were involved. Big Damon Hill fan (so underrated) and will start to take an interest in F1 again now the big-chinned German has retired.

My cousin has a Mazda RX8 - they are fantastic looking cars but drink oil like there's no tomorrow!

Used to be a *very* big fan of F1 & BTCC in the 90s (GO DAMON, GO DAMON!!), kind of lost track when I went to uni (and it all got very boring at that time anyway).

Like the look of Lewis Hamilton's performance - extremely promising.

I also love motorsport, really like rallying but I'm really into Formula 1, chuffed to bits after the first race of the season as I'm a huge Kimi fan, even better now that he drives a ferrari, here's hoping the rest of the season goes as well as the Australian race...

Kimi,Kimi,Kimi !!!!

Hi lejaya,

Yes, I have been to Silverstone, but not to watch any racing, trouble is with Silverstone is that it's a typical F1 track, you end up having to stand miles away from the racing! Have been to Trax a few times, but not over recent years, too much 'boy racer' which is not for me.

The RX8 is a good car :)

Love tin tops too (BTCC) especially when John Cleland was racing a mk2 astra and beet the cossies (albeit on points and not power, lol).

Those were the days when they closed off birmingham city centre and raced round it on the streets. :)

I'm not a massive fan of F1 as the racing is far too removed from the fans. I like BTCC and WTCC, British Rally Cross and WRC. As a spectator, you can get a little closer to the racing as well.

If you're interested, have a looky here at some of the pics I have taken.

The website is rather pants and I haven't sorted it out properly but content isn't too bad :)

I used to live near Silverstone and we went to the club car racing a lot as a kid.

In 1989 I went to the F1 GP - free with st John Ambulance - track side seat / hut!

We then wizzed the ambulance round the track to take a short cut around the thousands of cars trying to get out at the end. ( may still have the programme somwhere...) did lots of Truck racing duties there too! those beasts can't half shift!
